Challenge

Hewlett-Packard was an early adopter of PeopleSoft, kicking off their corporate PeopleSoft implementation in the early 1990s. They needed a fairly rapid deployment and some language customization of PeopleSoft to their European Multi-Region located in Geneva, Switzerland.

Solution

DuMonde Solutions joined the joint Hewlett-Packard / PeopleSoft team to build the first multi-language capability in the PeopleSoft online application and SQR reports that met local business requirements. Services included:

• Designed and developed panels in multiple European languages to meet local business requirements
• Developed online and SQR prompts in multiple European languages
• Implemented system messaging in multiple languages
• Produced and modified SQR reports to meet local compliance reporting and standard European paper formatting requirements
• Conversed with project team and users in native languages
