Coles Myer, Australia's leading retailer with more than 2,000 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand and $24 billion in sales, is Australia's largest non-governmental employer with over 150,000 employees. It operates under a number of brand names including KMart and Target.

Challenge

Coles Myer was the first PeopleSoft client in Australia consequently not all the proper vendor business infrastructure was in place to support them. They were at the beginning of their implementation and had not been properly trained on PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Utilities in order to move forward with development efforts.

Solution

At the request of PeopleSoft US and PeopleSoft Australia, DuMonde Solutions quickly dispersed a senior technical resource with a training background to deliver classes on PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Utilities to assist the Coles Myer project team with being fully prepared to support their implementation.
